Wandering:

Through a selection of mixed media works, Wandering depicts the artists exploration of their ideas and the various ways in which they are transformed into physical pieces of art. Each artist in the show presents us with exciting work that sparks our curiosity. Originally stemming from the theme of the isolated artist, the focus evolved into a more positive exploration.

 

The work in the show ranges from photography, painting, film, installations and a performance piece. Wandering as a physical activity eludes direct interpretation and assumptions about the productive value of time. The viewer is enticed to wander around these and the other participating works, into an open narrative that links to the exploration of oneself and the external surroundings.
